Oriole

The Oriole is a very aesthetically pleasing lathe. The Scott Manufacturing Company of Baltimore produced the Oriole. The large wheel with heart-shaped designs has a single sprial thread on its perimeter. As you crank the handle the thread advances the apple forward across the stationary blade and then through a slicing blade. This parer is marked ORIOLE SCOTT MNF. CO. BALT. MD.
