Gold Medal

The Gold Medal manufactured by R.P. Scott uses the same mechanism as the Monroe. The Gold Medal is larger than the Monroe. Embossing on the parer reflects the evolution of the Scott company. R. P. Scott Newark, NJ from c1880 to 1882. Scott Manufacturing Co. Baltimore 1882 to 1888. New Scott Manufacturing Co. Baltimore from 1888 to 1890 and finally Sinclair-Scott Manufacturing Co. from 1890 to c1952. See the Gold Medal pare an apple in our video section.
