Image of J.J. Parker's Apple Parer

J.J. Parker

J.J. Parker's return parer always stays in gear. To pare an apple the handle is rotated from the 4:00 position to the 2:00 position. At the 2:00 position the handle is stopped by the frame holding the fork gear. The motion is reversed to reset the machine. The parer is marked J.J. PARKER'S PATENT APRIL 7, 1857.
