The Expert Apple Parer

Penn Hardware Company of Reading Pennsylvania made parers very similar to the Reading 74, 75, and 78. The Expert Apple Parer is similar to the Reading '74. This parer is marked "The Expert" PENN H. CO. This parer is also embossed with an emblem that appears to be a Fleur-de-lis or iris flower. This emblem was used by the kings of France. The Twentieth Century Apple Parer is very similar to the Reading '75.
