Rocking Table Apple Parer

The Rocking Table Apple Parer

The Rocking Table Apple Parer represents the evolutionary pinnacle of Hudson's design. The "5th wheel" has been removed. Notice the hand-driven gear is a spur gear on the rim, but follow its concial shape and one sees the small bevel gear at the opposite end of this wheel directly engaged with the turntable gear. Set on a heavy frame, this parer is durable. A protective plate has been added so that the kitchen table is not marred by the screw mount. The same push-off remains, but the turntable gear is at a slight angle. This parer is marked MANUF'D BY. C.E. HUDSON LEOMINSTER, MASS. PATENTED JAN. 24, 82.
