Image of Monarch Apple & Peach Parer

"Monarch"

The Monarch by L.A Sayre & Company was sold as a peach parer. The blade on this parer is cone shaped and rotates. The rotary knife blade was also used on a common but beautiful parer made by R.P. Scott Manufacturing. These parers could be used for firm peaches or apples. This parer is marked "MONARCH" L.A. SAYRE, NEWARK, N.J. PAT. SEPT. 11, 83 APR. 27, 86.
