Hudson's Improved Apple Parer

In Hudson's Improved Apple Parer the outside of the hand-driven gear rotates the fork gear. The inside of the hand-driven gear meshes with a a bevel gear that engages the turntable gear. The push-off is a first class lever that is engaged by the frame. This parer is marked F.W. HUDSON'S IMPROVED APPLE PARER LEOMINSTER, MASS. PATENTED MARCH 5, 1872. This parer was also made without a push-off.
